Tree Planting   Volunteer Opportunity    

Anacostia Watershed Society
Join AWS as we plant trees along the Northwest Branch of the Anacostia River! Trees do great things for our watershed -- they provide habitat and improve water quality. Come be a part of this amazing process! All tools and supplies needed will be provided. Just bring a friend and be prepared to have fun! Everyone must RSVP. Click the webpage link below to do so. Groups must call 301-699-6204 ext. 109 or email mkoenig@anacostiaws.org. Student Service Learning hours are available. Just bring your forms and the event leader can fill them out for you. Disclaimer: All AWS events are subject to change (time, activity, location, etc.). Every effort will be made to contact volunteers if changes do occur.
