Press Play presents The Dog Days of Summer
District of Columbia Arts Center (DCAC)
Did you know that the Dog Days were popularly believed to be a time that caused the seas to boil and people to get burning fevers and hysterics? The Romans sacrificed a brown dog at the beginning of the Dog Days to appease the rage of Sirius (the Dog Star), believing the star to be the cause of the hot, sultry weather.
Since we can't sacrifice dogs or infect people, instead we offer you, "Press Play Presents: Dog Days of Comedy", a series of four exciting shows that brings together hilarious local comedy acts.
When: Fri Aug 10 2012 (7:30 PM)
Where: DC Arts Center, 2438 18th Street NW, Washington, Dist. of Columbia 20009
Fee? yes $8
Contact: DC Arts Center, (202) 462-7833
