Wetland Nursery Work   Volunteer Opportunity

For the last few years, AWS has been working with local students and other community members to restore wetlands up and down the Anacostia River. As part of this effort, we manage a small wetland plant nursery where we grow and care for many of the plants used in this restoration work. This spring and early summer we need your help to take care of this nursery! Work will include some planting, mulching, and other light maintenance. Join us! Registration is required. Contact Maddie below.   more event info >
