Description of Volunteer Opportunities/Responsibilities:
We primarily need volunteers for administrative assistance such as filing, seeking donations, and answering phones. We are also starting a quarterly newsletter and we would love to have a volunteer assist in creating/mailing the newsletter to our tenants, friends, and supporters.
We would welcome ongoing volunteers who would be interested in being matched with one of our program participants for a "Big Brother/Sister" type program.
We would love to expand our capacity to support volunteers and a volunteer "Volunteer Coordinator" would be a dream come true!
Number of Volunteers: 3
Types of Volunteers Needed: Adult-individual; Adult-group
Training Requirements: We would provide sensitivity training and education on mental illness and homelessness prior to becoming a volunteer, or on the day of volunteering for shorter term opportunities.
Hours Needed: Weekday.

Ideas for a Team or Group Activity: We would welcome any connections with your corporate partners and are especially interested in the following projects: creating promotional materials including brochures and videos or painting our offices.
Suggestions for a Drive to Benefit this Organization: Pathways DC would love any of the following drives: artwork/posters to decorate apartments, books, canned goods, socks, toiletries, winter coats/hats/gloves/scarves.
