Description of Volunteer Opportunities/Responsibilities:
Outreach Events and Fundraisers - helping with tabling and guest reception at fundraisers, forums, and tours; Office Volunteer Nights - conducting research, writing letters to the editor, prepping materials and helping with mailings while enjoying snacks with other volunteers at our Tenleytown office; Turnout at Public Hearings - testifying or preparing written comments on important policy or development decisions; Contacting Local Officials - emailing elected officials on key issues.
