Description of Volunteer Opportunities/Responsibilities:
*General Volunteer Opportunities
Tahirih relies on the work of many volunteers to better serve women and girls fleeing violence. We routinely need assistance with tasks including:
--Interpretation during client intakes and/or court hearings
--Translation of documents
--Transportation of clients to critical appointments
--Support and setup during the annual Benefit or other events
--Administrative projects at the office
*Professional Volunteer Opportunities:
We can particularly utilize the help of attorneys, medical providers, lobbyists, and public relations specialists, among others. If you would like to become involved, please contact us for more information.

Types of Volunteers Needed: Adult-individual; Teen (13 and up)-individual
Training Requirements: Because volunteer tasks vary widely, necessary training will depend on the individual and project.
Hours Needed: Weekday.
