Volunteer Opportunities

Operation Homefront DC Metro Chapter

Volunteer Coordinator: Jamilia Shipman, Jamilia.Shipman@OperationHomefront.net, 703-421-9033

Description of Volunteer Opportunities/Responsibilities:
We rely on our volunteers to make sure we meet the needs of our clients. Each Operation Homefront chapter has few or no paid staff. Without the dedicated support of volunteers, we would not be able to accomplish our mission. From our special event volunteers to our staff-level volunteers, each person makes a life-changing contribution to our troops, the families they leave behind and to our wounded warriors when they return home.
We encourage you to review our volunteer opportunities to find one that is right for you. Your time and talents can really make a difference for Operation Homefront and the military families we serve.
