Description of Volunteer Opportunities/Responsibilities:
Riverwatchers help monitor and report pollution in the Potomac Watershed. Our Get the DIRT Out program teaches volunteers to monitor and report construction sites that are not following the best management practices and who are allowing stormwater runoff into our rivers and streams.
Office volunteers assist with data entry and mailings. Event volunteers help with the planning of and on the day of events. Interns will help with research projects and communications and outreach projects, such as developing content for our website.

Hours Needed: Weekday; Other. Riverwatcher volunteers can volunteer on their own time.
