Description of Volunteer Opportunities/Responsibilities:
Family Emergency Office - take requests, fill food bags, stock shelfes. M-F, 9-12 and 12-3.
Drivers to deliver food to clients. (Alexandria City deliveries only)
Last Saturday Food Distribution at 3 sites. Aprox 8:00 to noon.
Unload food trucks 6:00 p.m. on the Friday before the Last Saturday Food Distribution.
Sort food following special food drives (several times per year)
Furniture-Using our trucks, pick up from donors and deliver to clients.
IT Assistance-On occasion, provide computer assistance to our staff.
Assist our volunteer treasurers with financial work.
Types of Volunteers Needed: Adult-individual; Adult-group; Teen (13 and up)-individual; Family; Holiday
Training Requirements: None
Hours Needed: Weekday; Weekday Evening; Weekend Day.
