The only modern dance company in DC rooted in an Asian American aesthetic, the company uses dance as a creative medium for enhancing social and cultural understanding. Audiences and critics have lavished praise on works ranging from the experience of Korean immigrants in America to a cross-cultural relationship at the end of World War II. Audience accessibility and interaction are important, so the artistic process always involves open rehearsals, discussion, and outreach to youth audiences.
