The Catalogue for Philanthropy: Greater Washington focuses on community-based nonprofits with budgets below $3 million - the ones about which you might not otherwise hear. If "making a difference" is one of your goals in charitable giving, then these excellent, carefully vetted charities may be for you. Browse Our Nonprofits, find the ones that appeal to you, and learn more, volunteer, attend an event, or donate.
If you want to use our Donate Now/Decide Later Fund you can make a contribution to the Catalogue (we are a tax-exempt organization too) and decide in January to which charities you wish to distribute your funds. Click the DONATE button at the bottom of this page and write "decide later" in the designation box when it appears. Or contact us (see info below) if you would like to make a donation by mail.
