How to be featured in the Catalogue for Philanthropy: Greater Washington
RFP
If you are considered a part of Greater Washington, your
operating budget is under $3m, and you are a 501c3, you may
be eligible to apply. The new RFP appears on this site on January 1; applications are due in late February (click the RFP link above for details); the review process occurs in
March and April; selections are announced in May; and
the Catalogue is mailed to donors in November.
Because we do not merely list organizations but rather profile
them, and because we receive many more applications than we
have spaces, the process is a competitive one. We look for
excellence, cost-effectiveness, innovation, and appeal to
donors. You can preview the Request for Proposals by clicking the RFP link above. The
most up-to-date version of the online application becomes available each year on
January 1. If you have missed the deadline (late February each year), please do not submit an application now; check back
for the new RFP in the following January!
