Most of the colorful banners of this website highlight 2007-08 charitable organizations in the Greater Washington region, selected to be featured in this year's print Catalogue and on the web. The exception is the blue "ALL CHARITIES" banner on the far right.

To browse this year's charities by field, run your cursor over the drop-down menus at the top of the homepage (and most interior pages). In NATURE and INTERNATIONAL the menus reveal this year's charities (no subfields). In CULTURE, EDUCATION, and HUMAN SERVICES the menus reveal subfields, and each of these reveals a list of 2007-08 charities: follow the arrows from field, to subfield, to charity selection.

Each major field includes an introduction at the top of the menu and the option to visit All Charities in that field (all years) at the bottom. You can also view other years under the blue ALL CHARITIES banner or at the 2003-2008 links on the bottom right of the homepage.

To view all of this year's charities at a glance, or to view all Catalogue charities at a glance, you can also choose the blue ALL CHARITIES drop-down menu and select either 2007-08 or All Years. View by category, name, state (DC, VA, MD), or Catalogue year. Please note that once you click a particular charity, the color-coded menus at the top of the page will take you to that year's Catalogue. To return to the complete list, just choose it again by returning to the blue ALL CHARITIES link.

Once you have identified the charities of your choice, click the "donate now" button to give online, or send contributions by US mail to the charities that interest you. Detailed instructions about giving may be found in WAYS TO CONTRIBUTE, above.
